Over the past two decades alot has been said about Kelly Rowland,from people always saying she'll be in the shadows of you know who to people saying she just doesn't
have the "it" factor,well now Ms.Kelly is stepping up,"killing the haters with kindness", and telling the world "HERE I AM".
Released July 26th, Kelly's new hit album focuses around topics of love,inner strength,empowerment,fun,and....you guessed it....SEX!

To get a good idea of each song let's go one by one shall we?

"I'M DAT CHICK" -The album opens up with Kelly boasting "I'm that chick,how you know,I told you so". Over the pumping instrumentals Kellys sings the Ester Dean
wrote track with confidence as she gloats "I'm not cocky,I just love myself....this chick know she cute so what you talking bout". Certainly a track made for the clubs,
I'm Dat Chick is the perfect opener for Here I Am. Yea Kelly,we know,you dat chick!!

"Work It Man"- Keeping up with the trend of "girl sings,boy raps,song is a hit", the second track opens with Lil playy rapping a quick line or two,before Kelly comes in
and steals the show. "Every good woman needs a good man,I'm a good woman, and he know that"Kelly sings over the Rodney Jerkins produced beat."You a work it man,show me what you
working with".While a very catchy tune,the song may come off as a slight diss to some men but if you're a "work it man" it certainly wont.

"Motivation"- What more is there to say about this song? From Lil Wayne's sexy verse to Kelly's silky vocals,Motivation is the perfect bedroom soong & was the perfect
choice as the first U.S. single. 7 weeks at number 1 on the R&B charts,top 10 on radio & top 20 hot 100,Motivation is a hit with the masses and definitely a standout track.

"Lay It On Me" - Starring as the album's second U.S. single,"Lay It On Me" is a perfect blend of pop & hip hop. Featuring two playful verses from Big Sean where he exclaims

"Turn It Up"- If Kelly is searching for that crossover pop hit ,she need look no longer."I can tell her everything you told me,I can make her feel
just like me,instead I'm sipping til I'm empty....TURN IT UPPPPPPP" Kelly boasters as she rips into her ex-lover. With a great visual Turn it up could do big things
on the charts. Future single? Maybe. We'll just have to wait and see,until then "TURN IT UPPPPPPPPP"!

"All Of The Night"- A sexy slow jam featuring Rico Love,Kelly compares herself to a song on the radio telling her boo to turn her up & keep it bumping! Sampling 2 Live Crew's "One and One",
Kelly gloats "One and one,we're having some fun in the bedroom all day,and all of the night" . With a 90's vibe to it,All of The Night is already getting
airply on urban stations across the nation and is the perfect song for a long night session.

"Keep It Between Us"- My personal favorite track on the album,as well as Kelly's, Keep It Between Us is that perfect song for you and that special someone.In a bold,strong
voice Kelly sings about her special love and their special relationship. "And I wont give my love away,we just keep it between us,we just keep it between us..."Kelly whispers
on the soothing Drake like instrumentals. Knowing that Kelly wants to release a remix album,could we see a future remix with Drake? If so that would be amazing.Though I feel
Kelly held back vocally on the climax, Keep It between Us is my favorite track off the album and that says alot about how good it is.

"Commander"- The track that started the "Here I Am" era over a year ago, Commander is the perfect David Guetta produced dance track,which is probably why it topped the
stateside dance charts as well as became a U.K. top 10 hit. While a great track Commander throws the flow of the album off and doesn't quite belong with Here I Am's urban pop sound.
The urban remix featuring Nelly should of taken it's place. Nice track non-theless.

"Down For Whatever"- The album ends with "Down For Whatever" a dance,pop inspired song that would surely become a huge U.K. hit and with the recent euro-pop explosion
in the U.S.,a possible a pop hit as well. The track mashes better with the rest of the album than "Commander"but doesn't really serve as a proper
album closer,leaving the album hanging at a dead end.

All in all "Here I Am" is a good re-intruduction to the world from Kelly Rowland. Though not perfect Here I Am possesses enough radio ready songs & star power to push
Kelly into solo superstar status that she surely deserves. Though more of an urban album Here I AM contains splashes of pop and dance that will surely please everyone from Atlanta,Georgia to London,England.
A good listen from start to finish Here I Am will surely be Kelly's most successful and sought after album to date.

Amazon warrior Wonder Woman is set to return to the small screen - more than three decades after actress Lynda Carter made the role famous.

The New Adventures of Wonder Woman, adapted from the classic DC Comic series, aired in America from 1975 to 1979.

Another TV series was attempted in the 1990s, but the project was scrapped due to casting concerns over Carter's successor.

Now Boston Legal creator David E. Kelley has signed a deal with Warner Bros. and DC Entertainment bosses to write and produce a revamped version, reports Deadline.com.

Casting details have yet to be announced. However, Hollywood actresses have previously lined-up to take over the role in a long-awaited Wonder Woman movie, including Jennifer Love Hewitt, Megan Fox, Eliza Dushku, Sandra Bullock and Beyonce Knowles!

Joe McElderry once almost wet himself at a Beyonce Knowles concert. The 19-year-old singer was once so excited to see his idol in the flesh he refused to go to the toilet and spent almost the entire show desperate to relieve himself because he didn’t want to miss any of her songs.

He told BANG Showbiz, “I went to see her. And I was desperate for the toilet and I would not leave in case I missed a tiny bit. My cousin was like, ‘Just go to the toilet,’ I just kept saying, ‘No! I’m not going!’ ”

Strictly Come Dancing star Michelle Williams has said she has great "chemistry" with her dance partner Brendan Cole.

The former Destiny's Child singer claimed Cole has not lived up to his bad boy image during training.

She told the Daily Record: "They made out that I was being matched up with the devil, but he's been nothing but fun.

Former Destiny’s Child singer Kelly Rowlands has hinted that she may appear as a judge on the upcoming season of X Factor.

Regular judge Dannii Minogue will miss the audition rounds of the show starting next month and Simon Cowell is reportedly looking for one or a number of celebrities to replace her on the panel.

Could Kelly be one of those people? In a recent interview she said that she loves the mentoring system in place on X Factor.

“I love X Factor and I think one of the things I love about X Factor is the fact that you get a chance to mentor the artists as well,” the 29-year-old told The Hits Radio.

“I’ve watched Simon and Dannii and everybody do that on the show and I think that’s one of the things I love about that show the most.”

Titled "Prayer Song," the compilation effort was recorded at New York's MSR Studios Tuesday.

Also featuring Gospel recording star Tye Tribbett, American Idol alum Anwar Robinson and Krishnar Lewis, "Prayer Song" is set to become part of 'Hope For Haiti's' relief efforts.

"Prayer Song' follows the successful telethon "Hope For Haiti," which aired shortly after the earthquake in January.

Rowland shops up a storm in Sydney

KELLY Rowland has decked herself out in Australian fashion, saying she has fallen in love with local designers during her visit.

The US Grammy Award-winning singer has spent the past two days shopping up a storm in Sydney, buying clothes from the likes of Manning Cartel and Sass and Bide.

Rowland even picked up a few treats to take back home to friends in the US.

“For the past two days, I’ve truly enjoyed my shopping,” Rowland, wearing Australian designs, said in Sydney.

“I went to Manning Cartel, and Sass and Bide and Peep Toe, and then Satch, which had really nice men’s stuff. And I got some friends back home some stuff. It was just great. I love it.

“I just fell in love with all the designers.

“I have to go shopping again.”

The shopping expedition comes two years after Rowland wore an outfit on stage, designed by Australian Project Runway contestant Juli Grbac, who went on to win the competition.

The former Destiny’s Child singer, who’s recently shed her curves, says she feels very happy with her body and credits exercising with keeping her looking good.

“When I do it I feel so good,” she said.

“It’s like drinking water, it feels good for my body, and I’m starting to really really love it. Before I hated it cause it just felt like a lot of work.”

Rowland, however, believes the music industry has further to go in accepting all shapes and sizes.

“I feel like this industry is a bit image driven,” she said.

“I think it should be about talent. I have friends back home who can sing me under a table and they have gone out for record deals and people have literally turned them away over their size.

“And to me it’s ridiculous.

“But I think everybody’s going to come around, I think that true talent surfaces.”

Rowland will join DJ David Guetta to sing When Love Takes Over at the closing party for the Sydney Gay and Lesbian Mardi Gras on Saturday night and said she was excited about the event.

“Once we get off stage we’re going to have so many different memories and things to talk about because everybody says you always take a memory from Mardi Gras, so I’m excited about it,” Rowland said.

George Michael is rumoured to be performing as well.

“I hope he’s there. I’d love to see him,” Rowland said.

Running from February 21st to March 6th, the Mardi Gras offers a packed programme of events, from street performers to late night parties.

Featuring thousands of performers, with highly decorated floats, the parade itself is the biggest event of the year for Sydney’s gay community.

"I would love to sing with her. I'm not saying Susan is a better singer than me, everyone has their own style, but I think our voices would complement each other well," the Daily Express quoted Rowland as saying.

The former Destiny's Child singer, who is Boyle's self-confessed fan, added: "Each time she sings I'm flabbergasted. Also, her life story makes me cry.

It looks like everybody’s favorite St. Louis rapper is ready to make a comeback in 2010. Following the release of 2008’s Brass Knuckles, Nelly has a new album in the works. The Derrty Ent. CEO has been holed up in the studio with acclaimed producer Jim Jonsin, the mastermind behind hits like Lil Wayne’s “Lollipop” and Beyoncé’s “Sweet Dreams.”

“We’ve done a few songs so far. Nelly’s great, he’s really super talented,” Jonsin told Rap-Up.com about working with the “Hot in Herre” MC on his sixth studio album. “I just know he looks pretty anxious about dropping [it] within the next couple of months for sure.”

So what can fans expect from the new project? For starters, a throwback with a modern twist: the tentatively-titled “Dilemma (Part 2)” is a nod to his chart-topping 2002 collaboration with pal Kelly Rowland.

“I did the track with [songwriter] Rico Love and Nelly had this melody idea,” Jonsin revealed about the song’s sequel. “I’ve worked with Kelly and I’ve heard her sound, and that kind of triggered me to call and put her in the studio.”

The hitman believes “Part 2” could be bigger than the original. “It came out really amazing. It’s similar in that it’s musical and it has a great melody. But the sound is a little different, a little newer.”

In the new decade, Jonsin plans to take his production in a different direction, which music fans will hear on Nelly’s project and others. “I want to challenge [artists] more and bring back more melody in music,” he said. “I think everything should just be more edgy and harder for this year.”

Guetta: Rowland album is crazy

Kelly Rowland has "some crazy stuff coming" this year, according to David Guetta.

The French DJ and producer has been raving about the former Destiny's Child singer's new material.

"We just connected and I'm now working on her new album," said David.

He added that the pair's contrasting music styles complemented each other.

"It's really funny because we're so different," David explained. "We come from different backgrounds and it's really exciting to work together because we have a totally different point of view, which makes things more exciting."

He went on: "It's like the best of both worlds. I don't think anyone can beat the energy that we have in dance music. Urban music, nothing can beat those melodies and the way they sing - so when we're together it's crazy."

It seems the couple have formed quite a musical alliance, as both are up for Grammy awards this year with their 2009 summer hit When Love Takes Over.

"We (are nominated for) two. It's crazy. With Love Takes Over, we got Best Dance Song and Best Remix, which is funny because I remixed myself!"

David has revealed that Kelly was the one to first approach him about collaborating.

"She's the first (artist) that came to see me. I was just playing in a club in the south of France and she was there and she heard the instrumental of When Love Takes Over," he revealed. "She came to see me, asked what it was and said that she loved it - and that she would want to write and sing on it. It was fantastic, it was my first experience with an RnB singer."

If there is one thing PokerStars does almost as well as it runs a poker site, it's throw parties.

It's hard to say exactly how this came to be. The people behind the scenes are really quite upstanding, thoughtful people who don't cotton to random Bacchanalian adventures. Nevertheless, over lo these many years the PokerStars Blog has been traveling to big PokerStars events, we has noticed a fairly common thread. If it's a PokerStars tournament, there is a better than even money chance of a big party of some sort breaking out. Over the years we've seen fire dancers, painted women, and just about everything you can imagine (and frankly, a couple of things you couldn't).

We've just received word that PokerStars has gotten it in its head that it needs not one, but two parties at the 2010 PokerStars Caribbean Adventure. If you've been to the PCA before, you know all abut the smokin' Welcome Party Pokerstars always throws. You'll get that again this year on January 4 from 7:00PM to 9:00PM at the Royal Deck. It will once again feature free hors d'oeuvres and drink, not to mention some of the best local entertainment on the island.

For a lot of us, that would be enough. But, wait, there's more! We have just learned that there will be a second party on the night of January 9. That Saturday evening from 9pm to 12am at Paradise Harbour, PokerStars will host an invitation-only party with a live performance from R&B singer and former member of Destiny's Child Kelly Rowland.

Sam (TGJ): The industry is abuzz with what Kelly Rowland is cooking up in the lab for her 3rd studio album. Kelly herself has revealed that you’re overseeing the bulk of the project. What can we expect to hear from the record?

Rico Love: I’m doing my best to challenge her as much as possible vocally and challenge myself as far as my en and writing unbelievable songs. I just want to write the best songs; the biggest songs for her. I feel like everybody knows she’s a star in the group but I feel like she’s a megastar that could stand alone and do great numbers, and be a huge success worldwide. I just want to write and album that reflects that. I feel like people got a glimpse of that when they heard ‘When Love Takes Over’, which she performed amazingly, and when I heard it I said “o my God.” People really had no idea and even when I worked with Michelle [Williams], I feel like I bring out the best vocals in people. I try to bring out the best vocals I can in all the artists that I work with but with Kelly I wanted people to know how much of a powerhouse-league vocalist she is and that she can be. Sometimes it’s hard to get that out in a group, especially when you’re not so much the leader of the group, so now she gets her opportunity. She’s got to get her shot to really shine, and I’m going to help her get that.

It looks like Kelly Rowland isn’t the only diva who’s had enough of Matthew Knowles.

Beyonce’s mom (who also happens to be her costume designer), Tina Knowles, has filed divorce papers against Matthew (Beyonce’s manager). According to mtvnews.com, TMZ says that she filed the divorce papers last month in Texas, calling an end to a 29-year marriage.

Matthew is known for his powerful promotion of Beyonce, and he quit his job at IBM after a 20-year long career to manage the group of girl’s that would eventually become Destiny’s Child. He is known to have had a pivotal role in making Beyonce’s solo career the success story that it is, and has producer credits on the 2009 thriller “Obsessed.” Yet he’s not the only parent thoroughly engaged in the Sasha Fierce spectrum. Known for her fierce costumes and performance gowns, Beyonce has been dressed by Tina, who is a stylist and principal in House of Dereon (launched in 2004). Beyonce is almost as esteemed for her clothing line as for her incredible performance talents.

According to The Insider, Tina and Matthew have not been living together since Janurary of this year (2009). In the article, the petition for divorce states that, “The marriage has become insupportable because of discord or conflict of personalities … that destroys the legitimate relationship and prevents any reasonable expectation of reconciliation.”

Former Destiny's Child star Kelly Rowland has admitted she would love a job on The X Factor's judging panel.

The 28-year-old US star said she would be willing to take on the job after judge Simon Cowell, 50, admitted he would like to add another judge for next year's series.

Robbie Williams, 35, has been mentioned for the role and rapper Eminem, 36, is also said to be lined up for a role as a guest judge.

Kelly said if she did join the panel, she wouldn't be nasty with her comments: 'Who am I to judge someone's struggle and where they've come from? We have all had difficult battles. It took Destiny's Child six years to get a record deal.

'Sometimes there is a waiting list and you have to struggle and have patience. That strengthens you, makes you better and more appreciative when you get there.

'I hope the contestants appreciate that and know that there's somebody ready and willing to take their spot.'

Lady Gaga has announced a series of collaborations with Beyoncé, in which the pop stars will trade off on two forthcoming singles, and possibly Lady Gaga's second album.

"I want to do my version of Beyoncé," Lady Gaga told New York's Z100 radio station yesterday. Though she's best known for far-out costumery and sullen posing, Lady Gaga took a different approach for her appearance in an forthcoming Beyoncé video. "[Beyoncé] called me and she said, 'What do you want to do?'" Lady Gaga revealed. "And I'm like, 'I don't want to show up in some frickin' hair bow and be fashion Gaga in your video'. I said, 'I want to do you.'"

And so there she is, in a photo leaked to the Perez Hilton blog: Lady Gaga with her hair (or perhaps her wig) down, standing in a Beyoncé-style white leotard. "The whole time I was learning the choreography they were calling me Gee-yoncé," Gaga said.

That clip – for Beyoncé's Video Phone single – isn't the only team-up on the cards. The Crazy in Love singer guests on Telephone, a track from the forthcoming expanded edition of Lady Gaga's debut album. Telephone was produced by Darkchild and is reportedly a future single.

That's not all, though. Lady Gaga has suggested that she and Beyoncé may evencollaborate on songs that don't have the word "phone" in their titles.

50 Cent 'Begged' Kelly Rowland To Star In His Video!

50 Cent has revealed just how he got Kelly Rowland to agree to a cameo in his latest music video - he begged the Destiny's Child star.

Fif says he bumped into Rowland in Los Angeles and instantly wanted to recruit her as his love interest in the promo for 'Baby By Me'.

"I actually ran into her, I said, 'Wow! It'll be great if I could get her to come tomorrow [for the shoot].'" 50 Cent explained. "Kelly was getting ready to fly back to Miami. I was lucky enough to catch her."

"I kinda begged my way into her doing it. I didn't want to do the normal video situation, where you have the vixen or somebody no one knows from anywhere. I think it intensifies the whole song."

'Baby By Me' appears on 50 Cent's album 'Before I Self Destruct', which is now being released in December.

Earlier this week, the rap star revealed he has lost millions because of the economy. He also denied he has beef with Fabolous.

Kelly Rowland has been in and out of the studio prepping her first album since parting ways with Columbia Records and Mathew Knowles’ Music World Entertainment earlier this year. One of today’s most sought-after hitmakers, Rico Love, spoke to Rap-Up.com about his involvement with the Destiny’s Child alum’s third solo album.

“I’m actually going to be doing the majority of her record,” reveals the songwriter behind Beyoncé’s “Sweet Dreams” and Mario’s “Thinkin’ About You.” “I did three records for her album so far and she’s touring right now.”

The host of Bravo’s “The Fashion Show” won’t have much downtime during her holiday vacation as there are plans to complete the follow-up to 2007’s Ms. Kelly by January. “I believe we’re going to finish the album over the Christmas break,” says Love, whose latest work includes Leighton Meester’s first single “Somebody to Love” featuring Robin Thicke.

Rowland is reportedly close to finalizing a new deal with EMI Music, home to David Guetta, LeToya Luckett, and Snoop Dogg, but an official announcement has yet to be made. “I believe she’s doing her deal right now. She’s in the process of closing a pretty big deal. I don’t think she’s going to say yet. She’s got the No. 1 song in the world with David Guetta, ‘When Love Takes Over.’”

Her latest gig comes in the form of playing 50 Cent’s love interest in the video for “Baby by Me” off the rapper’s new album Before I Self Destruct

A few weeks ago, news broke of some baby-daddy drama from an unexpected place. A woman named Alexsandra Wright filed a paternity case against 58-year-old Mathew Knowles, Beyonce’s father. Wright filed the paternity petition in Los Angeles, where she resides. Beyond that, there’s not a lot of information about her. A Canadian source claims Wright is Canadian and 38 years old.

It is unknown whether Wright wants a simple admission of paternity, or if she wants child support. My guess? She wants the money. Mathew Knowles has been Beyonce’s manager from the beginning, meaning he’s got at least 10% of whatever Beyonce’s making. Which puts it into millions of dollars. Anyhoodle, this is pretty scandalous because Mathew and Tina Knowles have been married since 1980! Yikes. The Enquirer has a new story out, all about how Beyonce is “furious” about this dangerous liaison.

Alexsandra Wright filed the suit in late September because she was terrified Mathew Knowles would end their relationship when he learned about the pregnancy, says a source close to the Knowles family.

“Beyonce is very upset,” said the source. Although Mathew and Tina have gone through several rough patches in their marriage, Beyonce is “angry that her father didn’t have enough sense to protect himself” from a situation like this.

Now Beyonce believes it might be time to separate him from her professional like, says the source.

“Beyonce says a big part of being successful and happy is being focused, and she can’t do that when she has to deal with her father’s antics.”

I tend to think Beyonce should get another manager, a real manager. While I think Mathew Knowles has done a hell of a job managing Beyonce’s career thus far, and I have no doubt that he’s a cold, hard, business-oriented bastard when he needs to be, I think it‘s time to end the dad-manager thing. In total, I dislike this trend of having a family member manage you - that’s what creates monsters like Papa Joe Simpson (Jessica and Ashlee Simpson’s dad) and Dina “Shoe-Han” Lohan. As for the whole paternity suit thing, we’ll see. My guess is Mathew’s the baby-daddy, but I’ll wait for it.

Beyoncé finally talked about Kanye West's VMA goof, MTV reports, at Billboard's annual Women in Music event, where she was named woman of the year.

"Well, I knew his intentions, and I knew he was standing up for art; and he told me before, when they said the nominees, he's like, 'You have this award,'" Beyoncé said to Gayle King, editor of O: The Oprah Magazine, after accepting her award.

"And when they didn't call my name he was, like, completely shocked. And when he walked on the stage, I was like, 'No, no, no!' and then he spoke, and I was like, 'Oh, no, no, no!'

"But in the end, it ended up being a great night, and Taylor Swift did get her moment — and I didn't have to make an acceptance speech," she added.

Home for Beyonce's family violates beach law

GALVESTON — A seaside getaway on Galveston Island used by pop star Beyoncé Knowles' family has run afoul of the Texas Open Beaches Act.

Hurricane Ike pummeled the beachfront vacation house that the General Land Office says is owned by Mathew Knowles, a successful music executive who manages Beyoncé and her sister, Solange. Mathew Knowles also is founder of Houston record label Music World Entertainment and was executive producer for Obsessed, the 2009 film staring Beyoncé.

A contractor hired by the elder Knowles to repair the home, which was on the tax rolls for $423,000 in 2008, built a slab-like concrete floor under the structure, GLO spokesman Jim Suydam said.

The problem is that Ike scoured away the beach in front of the house, placing it on the public beach where hard structures are prohibited, Suydam said.

Land Commissioner Jerry Patterson said Knowles is being cooperative and his department won't seek any penalties as long as he's correcting the problem.

He said Knowles isn't getting special treatment.

The GLO could go to court to enforce the regulations, but Patterson said he wants his agency to take a cooperative approach in its dealings with all Texans.

“I didn't know who Beyoncé Knowles was,” Patterson said. “If he's getting special treatment it's not because of me.”

Patterson said he's not going to make Knowles or any other beachfront property owner move their house off the beach unless it affects beach access or poses a health or safety problem.

Knowles was unavailable for comment.
