Beyonce ,Maiah Carey & Madonna to record Michael Jackson tribute album.

MTV UK is reporting that a major Michael Jackson tribute album is in the works featuring some of the biggest superstars in pop music. Beyonce, Whitney Houston and Madonna are expected to take part. Stars like Mariah Carey, Usher and young Shaheen Jafargholi are expected to reprise the songs they sang at the Michael Jackson memorial service. A source was quoted saying, "The idea came from the memorial concert. Many fans asked if cover versions would be released and it seemed a wonderful idea." Additional reports are indicating that Whitney Houston and Robbie Williams may fill some of the concert dates at the O2 Arena that had been intended for Michael Jackson's comeback concerts.

Beyonce may also appear at Michael's tribute concert in London.

Who's going to buy the album?

  2. Mariah's dang near breathless singing, Madonna (who cannot sing at all), and the p popper yodelin'? Nah. Think I will pass. Besides, I just don't think Beyallboutme is in it to really show love for MJ. It is going to be all about her just keeping her name out there to remain relevant.

Michael Jackson was/is the best of all time and I hope a REAL tribute is in the works for him. Mariah and Madonna are old enough to appreciate the artistry and genius of Michael, but Bey...I just don't feel her.
