Jay Z Claims Second Week at No.1, Houston Follows

Jay Z has scored a second consecutive week at no.1 with "The Blueprint 3".

Fresh off surpassing Elvis, by scoring his eleventh number one album, Jay-Z comes in strong with over 300k copies of "The Blueprint 3" this week.

Led by the single "Run This Town (Rihanna, Kanye West)," Jay-Z's album is now clear for Gold certification (500k+) and well on its way to Platinum after selling over 400,000 copies in its first week.

Not following too far behind, Grammy Award-winning diva Whitney Houston fought a hard battle for the no.2 spot and won this week.

Facing heavy competition from Muse and Kid Cudi, Houston comes in at no.2 thanks to over 165k of "I Look To You" flying off shelves.

Cudi, releasing his debut album "Man on the Moon: End of Day," comes in at no.4 with just over 104k sold.

In related news, Jay-Z is up for two awards at the forthcoming MTV Europe Music Awards.
