Kelly Rowland pulls out of Manchester Pride!

Manchester Pride organisers have today announced that the festival’s headline act – Kelly Rowland – has pulled out of the event which takes place from 21 - 31 August.

Rowland has made a name for herself after the demise of Destiny’s Child thanks to collaborations with Nelly on “Dilemma” and David Guetta on “When Love Takes Over”.

Jackie Crozier, festival manager of Manchester Pride, said: "In circumstances beyond our control, Kelly Rowland will no longer be performing at this year’s Pride celebrations. Our disappointment will no doubt be shared by many of the festivals fans.

“Despite this setback the show must go on. We still have an exciting Big Weekend line-up confirmed as part of Pride’s ten-day celebrations. And of course, we hope to find a replacement for Kelly in time for the festival.”

The singer expressed her sincere apologies and said that she looks forward to returning to Manchester soon.

There are still a whole host of fantastic performers confirmed to play Manchester Pride, including: The Freemasons, Bananarama, Little Boots, Frankmusik, Natasha Hamilton and Peter Andre.

This is the third show she has pulled out of in the past month! Get it together Ms.Kelly.
