Kelly Rowland who has been staying out of the limelight, is set to perform on the Miss Universe stage.
The former Destiny's Child singer will perform her song "When Love Takes Over" with French DJ and producer, David Guetta. Other acts that will also perform will be rapper Flo Rida and reality star turned singer, Heidi Montag, from The Hills.
Kelly Rowland's single "When Love Takes Over" is already number 1 on the UK singles charts and is swiftly climbing the US charts. The single has been reportedly downloaded over 120,000 times on iTunes.
Kelly has also teamed up with Serve.MTV.com, an MTV platform that connects young people with volunteerism opportunities.
The 2009 Miss Universe Pageant is scheduled to premiere Sunday, August 23rd at 9PM on NBC.
